Farm to Table Series Baking Class Thursday 6:30-8 pm & Friday 6:30 -8 pm (9-11 Year Olds)
Welcome to the first series at Mesa Kids Cooking School. This 4 week class will focus on Farm to Table menu. Kids will get to learn from local farms in the area about where their food is coming from and how we can cook the food the farms bring in.
Week 1 (July 30 – Aug 4)
Lemon & Blueberry Quick Bread

Week 2 (August 6-11)
Thumbprint Cookies with Fruit Jam
Skills: Mixing Methods, Measurements, Baking, Time Management, Attention to Detail, Cooking, Simmer, Sugar Handling.
Week 3 (August 13 -18)
Carrot Cake & Decorating
Skills: Baking, Mixing, Decorating, Piping, Icing, Grating & Measuring, Vegetable Handling
Week 4 (August 20-26)
Apple Plum Cobbler with Whipped Cream
Skills: Slicing, Dicing, Measuring, Whipping, Baking Science, Pastry Handling.
No additional items needed for class except for apron. Waiver and Release forms must be signed before attending.
