Let us answer any question! Can't find the answer? Email Us!

At Mesa Kids Cooking School, we take communication seriously between the students and their instructors to our staff and the parents.

We try to answer any question that parents may ask. We also take suggestion and would love to hear from you as we are always looking for new ways to improve.

We take allergies very seriously here at MKCS. But, please be advised that our kitchen is not "allergen-free". Not all food sensitivities and allergens can be substituted. You know your body and needs best so, please fill out the Medical Form and keep your profile updated with all current allergens. Never hesitate to reach out to us via email or phone call if you have a concern with the class recipe or experience. Please keep in mind that most of our classes do not use any nuts in them. If it does, we provide that information up front in the information about the class. Feel free to check out our Autoimmune & Allergy Classes listed at the top of the website.

Our classes are non-refundable and non-transferable. Meaning, we can not transfer you to another date due to our seat availability. We also CANNOT credit your account for another class or workshop. We recommend that you gift the class to another student if possible.

If we are notified before the class date, we will provide you with an ingredient kit and recipe for an at-home experience!

We can not have any make up classes due to seating availabilty. The missed class is at parents expense.

Yes! You can. That is no problem for us. Just remember, that the rest of the students in that class correspond to the age group in the sign-ups. So, the class may be more advanced or not advanced enough depending on their age. Our classes are set up to separate age groups to ensure that each student gets the proper attention they need. We just ask that you reach out to us directly to let us know ahead of time if your student will be attending or not.

No, we do not. Although Mesa Kids Cooking School is a spin-off of the kid classes at 'Mesa A Collaborative Kitchen', Mesa Kids Cooking School is a totally different LLC and company altogether. The 2 businesses are not the same concept or place. Just remember, if you do accidentally purchase a gift card through 'Mesa A Collaborative Kitchen', we CANNOT compensate or refund you.

We have several security measures we carry out.

Among them:

  • On-site cameras inside and outside are rolling 24/7
  • Employee background checks
  • All instructors have ServSafe certifications for food safety and sanitation
  • We use safe kid-friendly utensils & training to properly handle sharp or hot objects. Each class is tailored for all skills and age groups.

All classes at Mesa Kids Cooking School are drop-off only, unless specified in the class details.

Due to the size of our facility, it's not safe for our instructors or students to have so many people in class. This also allows children to retain and listen to instructors better with fewer distractions.

We try to post photos and also live videos as much as we can so you can get an insight into what is going on in class!

We are located at 216 Pearl St. in downtown New Albany. We are facing the alley behind 'Mesa A Live Dining Show'.

No, we do not provide any snacks or drinks. You are more than welcome to send your student with a water bottle, but snacks are not permitted due to the students already "snacking" during class time. As we do not provide aprons, they are available for purchase inside our facility.
